Abstract: Vital, lethal and median concentrations of Fakel herbicide (48% isopropylamine salt of glyphosate as the active ingredient) were determined in experiments with Ceriodaphnia affinis. In comparison with the control, fecundity of C. affinis lowered by 75.6% at 10 mg/dm3 herbicide concentration and by 36−40% at concentration of 2.5−5.0 mg/dm3. The 0.001 mg/dm3 concentration was ineffective. This herbicide should be ranked among the toxic agents for aquatic organisms.
